About Veterinary Schools

What this is

Veterinary Schools lists institutions with veterinary programs, the campuses where they are taught, and the specific certificate, diploma, degree and doctoral programs they run. For each program we record the official award, whether a source classifies it as veterinary medicine, nursing, technology, science and research or assistant training, the entry routes, delivery, clinical placement, teaching language, tuition and any accreditation or recognition record. Each fact carries a source and a date.

Institutions, campuses and programs are kept separate. Accreditation, fees, language and duration belong to the individual program and campus, not to the university as a whole.

What it is not

• It is not a university, an accreditation body or a professional registration authority, and it is not affiliated with any. Nothing here grants, confirms or promises the right to practise as a veterinarian.
• It is not a league table. Our researched selections are unranked, state their criteria and limitations, and cannot be bought.
• It is not an application service. Applications are made on each institution’s own website.
• It does not cover every program yet. Coverage is tracked by destination and, in the United States, by state; gaps are shown as gaps.

How it is funded

Basic factual profiles are free. The site is funded by clearly labelled sponsored placements and advertising; see the sponsorship disclosure. Payment never buys accreditation information, verification, reviews, editorial recommendations or a place in our selections.
