Veterinary Schools

Associate and Foundation Degrees

Associate degrees (common for veterinary technology in the United States) and foundation degrees (common for veterinary nursing in the United Kingdom), each with its professional pathway, accreditation and tuition.
Associate and foundation degrees are first-stage qualifications. They are not interchangeable with bachelor’s degrees or with veterinarian qualifications.

Study pathways in these results

Veterinarian, veterinary nurse, veterinary technician, assistant and academic programs lead to different careers and are not interchangeable. Classification comes from a statement on an official page, never from the award title.

Veterinary nursing7
Programs preparing veterinary nurses. The role, title and regulation differ by country and are not interchangeable with veterinarians or technicians.
Veterinary technology81
Programs preparing veterinary technicians or technologists, depending on the jurisdiction. This is a different role from veterinary nursing in some countries and the same role under another name in others.
Pathway not classified6
No source we could read states the professional purpose of this program. It is left unclassified rather than guessed from the award name.

How results are ordered: alphabetically by institution, or by most recently checked when you choose that sort. There is no price ranking, because tuition in different currencies, fee categories and bases (per year, per credit, whole program) is not comparable. Adjacent subjects such as pre-veterinary or animal science appear only when you choose a subject. A value we could not verify is shown as “not published”, never as “no”. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change accreditation information, verification or order. Online programs are not counted as physically located in a state or city, and an institution’s location does not tell you whether it enrols students from your country.
